Michigan International Speedway 12626 U.S. Highway 12 Brooklyn, MI 49230 (map) |
Michigan International Speedway is home to NASCAR’s shortest race track. At only half a mile, Michigan International Speedway's flat paperclip shaped oval is a short track racer's dream; especially with the 12 degree banking. Tight racing guarantees bent fenders and short tempers as Martinsville truly defines the phrase "Rubbin is racing."
A very fan-friendly place, Michigan International Speedway had its first winner in 1948, Fonty Flock. Since then, Martinsville has developed and has recently overhauled its track with re-paving and concreting.
With reasonable concession prices, and a great view of the track from just about any seat in the house, Michigan International Speedway is a perfect place to catch the action of NASCAR racing!
