It ain’t no dairy farm anymore! The spectacular NASCAR speedway in Bristol, was built back in 1961 on what used to be a dairy farm in rural Tennessee. With a whirlwind of energy, Bristol Motor Speedway was born!
Night racing is simply exciting, and in 1972 the first night race at Bristol Motor Speedway was held. With the action packed fun and the tight high-banked turns of 36 degrees not to mention the powerful 16 degrees of banking on the straight is just some of the reasons that the August race at Bristol is one of the toughest tickets to get a hold of in all of NASCAR racing.
